I know some of youn guys and gals know, but BHBSbird has a bun in the oven, she is up the duff, been knocked up and is pregnant.
That is the last time I share a loo seat with her!!!
B-day is around mid-June. The doctors keep movong it forward, but as I am due to go away to the Ardennes on the motorbike at the end of May, I'm sticking with the first date of June 18.
Claire has been in hospital for a bit from New Years Eve for a few days, that is why we did not do the London parade on 1 January (nothing serious, she was just looking for sympathy ). She is obviously getting better as I have just been hit.
Looks like I wont be able to play on my motorbikes too much this year (had to type that as Claire has just had a look at the monitor, but I'll get out when I can as, being the father, I wont have much contact with the kid for the first 3 or 4 years until they can pass spanners, open a can of beer, light a banger or be used to get women to talk to me in the supermarket). Ow, just been hit agian. Apparently, I have to change nappies and everything!
Jenny (Claire's mum) has nearly finished 2 sets of mini stripes (Waterloo and Burgess Hill) already. Infact, the needles were out within 20 minutes of her being told.
Sorry that we have not been posting much recently, but both of our minds have been elsewhere recently.

Congratulations to you both. Mind you I already knew. Think I took the words out of Claire's mouth when she said that you two had some good news and I said "you're pregnant!" Physic me.
So by the time Burgess Hill's night gets here little one will be about 3 months old. Should be able to handle one of the fire or firework banners.
Also for outmeetings the pram/buggy can easily be converted into a beer carrier without too much trouble.
As for the bike get little one started early. My dad used to sit me on the tank when I was err, only a few months old and ride up the road with one hand on me and the other on the bars.
But like you said Paul little one should come in handy for carrying out all those little errands for its father.
Oh one last thing if you and Claire ever need a baby sitter you know where I am. _________________ "Bonfire boys do it with a bang!"

Just a quick update on bhbsbird. She has kindly given me permission to let you all know how she is. Well her kidneys have been giving her some more gyp and she has spent another week in hospital. But she is out now and is OK. Little one is also doing fine inside of her too.
I hear Ghoti is being a lil angel and looking after his beloved well.
So hope you get well soon bhbsbird.
