Burgess Hill Bonfire Society AGM is on Wednesday 1st February 2006. 7.30pm for 8pm, at the Kings Head public house in Burgess Hill.

Where else.... we know how ta do stuff at Burgess Hill... the landlord at the kings head is really supportive of the Society. Wink

Results from the AGM.....

Not a bad turn out of members, there were 26 bums on seats, so not bad going at all.

Elections of Officers:

Peter Handford - Chairman (what a surprise!!!!) Wink

Claire Handford - Secretary - I did ask for volunteers, but no one was brave enough... or should i say silly enough to stand as Secretary so I'm stuck with it again Shocked

Vice Chairman - Hugh Douglas

Membership Secretary - Mary Butcher

Treasurer - Jean Lambert

President - Mrs Amy Benson

Committee: John King, Neil Smith, Emma Handford, Margaret Williams, Glynis Tims & Johanne Blakeway.

Captains:

Commanders in Chief: Peter Handford

Pioneer Chief: Claire Handford

Capt of Banners: Peter Handford

Capt of Boxes: Jean Lambert

Capt of Fire Banners: Hugh Douglas

Inspector General: Alex Butcher

Capt of Ranks: Neil Smith

Capt of Torches & Barrells: John King

Capt of Bands: Duncan Blakeway

Auditor: Doug Stewart

Right, think thats everything.... if not... abject apologies to all Wink
