Hi all,
It has been brought to my attention recently that some people within the wider circle of Sussex Bonfire and not members of the forum have take offence to some of the postings on the forum. For example the postings about Debs Dancers in wet lycra at Uckfield and some of the smutty jokes within the joke section.
So to keep those who took offence to said postings happy I have removed the offending posts. Therefore to stop it becoming a topic of conversation at the next Sussex Bonfire Council meeting.
So i've added a new rule about being considerate to others when posting on the forum. Personally i believe in freedom of speech, but please be considerate when posting, as though something that might not offend you, might be offensive to others.
Enjoy the rest of the season and lets hope it starts to dry out soon!
I'm sorry but if they are NOT members of the forum, what on earth has it got to do with them, there is enough "Politics" and back biting going on at the moment without people starting to complain about a group they don't even belong too. If the forum members don't have a problem with it I fail to see why it should affect anyone else.

you do not need to be a member of the forum to read whats on the forum and remember that there are links from most of the bonfire web sites so it is not just bonfire boys and girls that can read this forum _________________ the only man to ever to enter parliament with honest intenions
I hear what you are saying bonfirebelle and can see where you're coming from. But as guyfawkesforpm said its a public forum where anyone one can view the postings on it.
I could take the whole thing away from the public domain and make each section private so nobody apart from the members can view it. But that would defeat the object of my intention of it being public so that everybody can view bonfire information about each event.
But it may be something to consider in the future. But its a road I dont really want to go down.
Hi Forrest sorry posted on impulse, without thinking it through of course both guyfawkesforpm and yourself are right and I do agree with you both. I am just getting extremely frustrated by certain other people who seem to have forgotten what bonfire is all about, friendship, fun and keeping alive a unique part of our history, not just winning prizes. So I apologise if I have upset anyone or made things worse in any way see you all on the glorious 5th if not before mwaaah.
