Had a great night last night
Love the beer tent idea and the burgesshil beer was a good drink as well

I must admit it was bit bit noiser than usual but I though it was a good addition to the night
(although some locals did not from what I saw and heard)

Not noisy enough for my liking  Twisted Evil  I had a bagful of noise,  but didn't get to let any of it out!
Clunk

Great night last night, I was banner marshalling for the first time this season. The fireworks were the best so far and the fire was bloody hot!
Firecracker

Good night again and mailman wasn't alone as Forrest was very tipsy by the end of the evening  drunken  He wouldn't shut up on the way back to the car and was talking utter rubbish  Rolling Eyes  Laughing
We had some noise down our way but as Darkstar said not enough for my liking Wink
Will bring out the strong rasberry vodka one night and see how the boys do on that  Twisted Evil  Wink
Snowflake

Forrest you can not blame your camera for the photos being blured, it was your swaying that did it.  Wink  Embarassed
Good night was had by all. More bangs would be good, roll on next week. Smile

Yes very good night at Burgess Hill. I wasn't as drunk as people make out, though I admit to being a wee tipsy. Finally sorted out my photo's. I did take over 300 of the things on satuurday night hence why its taken me so long. So I've put a selection on facebook for all to see.

As for the pint of Sussex Smuggler, the jury is still out from what I hear. Mixed reaction from what I've heard. Abit of a overkill on the use of ginger in my opinion, but not a bad pint.

Also there is a 4 page pull out in today's Argus. Not sure where the Argus have been for the last 4 weeks as they call it a spectacular start to the bonfire season  Shocked
Firecracker

Just got Argus, All pictures of Burgess Hill. Lots of forum faces in there Exclamation  Laughing

Ahhhh, I thought it was a little "spicey"! Not really my kind of pint - more of a Guinness man. Had to try it however, given my chosen moniker. As I've been "Darkstar-ing" for at least 16 years, can I claim royalties?  Very Happy

FB me Forrest, please  Very Happy
Ghoti

I was unsure about the Smuglers pint too.  I had 4½ just to make sure (payment for working at the bar).

It would be a nice winter beer to warm the sole, but a little overkill on such a hot night.

Drinkable though (if only to decide if I liked it or not!).
BonfireBoy

Mmmm have to agree a tad too much ginger in the pint for my liking. Still great night at Burgess Hill and a well done to them.
