I must give a big thank you to Mike Nickson who runs Lindfield's website. He does a fantastic job with it. I just sit back feed him the info he needs for it & I just let him get on with it.

My favourite part of the new site has to be the new photo gallery. Just run your mouse over the thunbnail & the picture loads just like that. Cool Exclamation

Everyone that I know who use Firefox always have problems with it. Website works fine on Internet Explorer. I'll email the webmaster & let him know. But I don't think there is a great deal that he can do about it.

Firework,

There are add-on for FF that allows you to view in an IE7 format. Look here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:1

It's the old nested tables problem by the looks of things. Firefox and IE deal with them in very different ways and it can be a real pig to re-jig an existing design to work on both platforms. If only Microsoft were W3C compliant, we wouldn't have this problem! These days it's better to use CSS divs and box models for layouts but tables are still a convenient quick and dirty fix.

It's very quick! I normally use firefox but it's easy enough to switch to IE for some sites, Littlehampton doesn't work in firefox either.

I don't have IE on my main (Linux) PC but I've loaded it in IE7 on the laptop and and it all works very well.

Spoke to Lindfield's webmaster tonight & he is aware of the Firefox problem & a few other technical cliches. But he is working on them as we speak.
