OUR CARNIVAL ROUTE WILL BE RETURNING BACK TO CHAPEL GREEN THIS YEAR TO A SMALL CONTROLLED BONFIRE, REASON BEING NO FIREWORK DISPLAY AT THE LEISURE CENTRE THIS HAS BEEN DONE FOR FINANCIAL REASONS AND HOPE THIS WILL PLEASE MANY WHO HAVE MISSED OUR GRAND FINAL PARADE WITH OUR FLAMING BANNERS UP CROWBOROUGH HILL TO CHAPEL GREEN NOTE CARNIVAL DATE SEPTEMBER 12TH
That's a shame, Hailsham BS will be there to support our friends and colleagues from Crowborough.

6.15pm Adult Fancy Dress Competition
7.00pm Wreath laying at War Memorial
7.15pm Crowning of Carnival Queen
7.30pm Procession moves off from Chapel Green
9.30pm Procession arrives back at Chapel Green.
Roads around Chapel Green will close from 6pm. Plenty of car parking next to Waitrose in the time.

A good night last night. We had quite a jolly crowd with Lindfield joining us and the hills weren't as half as bad as I thought they would be. Only once did I nearly get a torch head hit me when I was carrying the banner
