E-Bay for costumes

Just a quick one. I've found E-Bay a good place to find bits & pieces for costumes. That's where I've got most of my bits from for this year's effot. It's very good if you're looking for stuff of a military nature.

I'll back Forrest up on this one as thats where all of my stuff came from for this year.

I got some decent new military trousers off ebay at a good price. Very thick and warm (Jenny had a real trouble hemming them because the material was so thick). They never have tunics in my size though (perhaps I should lay off the Harveys for a couple of weeks).

I've got to the stage where I see something and buy it because it may be useful in the future. Don't tell Jenny and Pete because my house is so small, I'm hoping to store it in their loft!

Ebay stikes again. Genuine Mogolian wrestling boots (for my mongolian costume) for £10 Laughing

I find it strange that there was less competition for buying them Embarassed

Oh yes, and some leather horse gaiters (the bit that covers the horses shins) for £5 - should make good forearm whatever they are called thingymagigs.

I bought a neckerchief yesterday on ebay for the princely sum of £1.56 with £1 postage Smile
