The competition starts at 6.15pm with classes for the youngest children followed by further 17 different classes.
Admission is £2.50 for adults and 50p for children and there will be plenty of food and drink available on the night.

We entered a few times and got lucky and both got places . . Mrs V did better than me grrrrrrrrr . Didnt do it last year . Great atomsphere

Never been to this before but hope to get there this year. It will be a different way to celebrate my birthday.  Looking forward to seeing all the different costumes, will have to take loads of photots to use at school.

Hurrah!!! we came second overall in points, lets face it we were never going to beat cliffe so we are well chuffed! I think capt jack and lynn and derek had alot to do with it. Well done to all Borough enteries and thank you to the fletching boys for their kind comments

We had great fun even though we didnt get placed but happy we won as a society . . All credit goes to Jack Sparrow though . . He stole the show. Thanks to the Fletching gang for the heckling !

A great night, thoroughly enjoyed it even if the seats are uncomfortable.
Just to be nosey what was the problem in the mens final with the guy walking out?

He was wearing the wrong costume, he had won a class and came second in another. There was a debate about the rules and was asked to change into the costume in which he had previously came first.
Thats cleared that up.......not

I was up by the public address at the front, mate of mine from rocket was doing it. I didn't see you either but it was heaving in there.

So that's why I couldn't understand a word that was being said  We were down by the Borough Banner. Looks like another torchlit street swim tonight!!

Had a great time at the compotition what fantastic costumes well done every one who entered. Made a good birthday outing, Thank you Casper for your birthday wishes. PA system not good we could not hear at the end of the hall, Got loads of photos for school. Hope it dries up a bit before tonight I do not fancy a swim!
