Rotherfield is one place that has banned the use of flares in their procession. Thats the bad news. Now for the good news. They do hope to provide a play pen for us to safely play with bangs.

So who enjoyed the evening, despite the miserable weather? Actually, the weather wasn't too bad, unless you were up at the firesite, where it was effing awful, combined with the smoke from the wet fire in my eyes, not too nice at all!

Err not noticeable! Quite a few about. Any one else get their eardrums done in when the artic airhorns jammed on at the Old Station turn around? Other than that a great night. |

i had a great time. just like to thanks to maresfiled to letting the 5 of us from fletching walk with them. me and Mrs mailman had a good night lol

Well apart from the damp weather, the smoke filled firesite which meant you couldn't see the fireworks very well, overall the night was fairly good. Certainly many different types of alcoholic drinks were consumed during the course of the evening and most people seemed to enjoy themselfs.
I still hate walking up that hill back into the village though. Many thanks to Sean for his attempt at blowing me up which failed.
