TorchesI would like to know how many torches other society make for there night.
At fletching we made 6,700 this year and still had complaints that there was not enough handed out and yes we did have a few left but I still think this should be more than enough made for any event.
Normally we make 5,000 and burn all ( due to cost and labour).
We are sorry if any of you were left in the dark but we just can not make any more.

Torches3,650 for our night in Burgess Hill this year but we used felt and I do not think we had as many societys turn up. Difficult to judge when so many variables.

If memory serves me correct Cliffe make approx 5500 torches , but they are made in the traditional way .
