Sad It is a shame that so many have to clash when there are perfectly good weekends at the end of November that could be used. Is there some reason why the season ends so early?

The police budget won't run to any more overtime?  It gets so cold that even the thickest stripes can't keep 'em warm? Force of habit?  As far as I know there is no law against processing into December.

Yep got to agree far too bloody cold. Robertsbridge can get pretty damn cold mid November time. The only reason I don't feel it is because of the amount of alcohol consumed.  Laughing

Nyah, I reckon it's the sonic vibrations from all the drumming in the hall which generate heat by agitating the molecules in the bloodstream. A little physics can go a long way....

The season is fast approaching now. Over Lindfield we've started back down our workshed starting to sort things out.

I'd love to go to go to Lindfield for a change one year, but I can't see many societies who'd be willing to pass up Lewes.

The last couple of years we've had a small group come over from Burgess Hill and we normally get Chailey in attendence. A great night out for the youngsters if its mid week as we're done nice & early. Which gives me time to get down to Lewes after.

You must process very early if you can still get into Lewes, find somewhere to park and still have time to catch the displays...
