I understand that Isfield are holding their night on 30th October (friday) but will not be inviting societies to procession in their first year. Still can go as member of public. _________________ No Popery - Burn him
Just to get everybody going I've opened up a few of the celebration threads for this year. Not long o go now, I can almost smell the torches and gunpowder _________________ "Bonfire boys do it with a bang!"
How's about on the "spare" 10th arranging a firework display or something for serving soldiers, veterans and their families? To show our appreciation of our troops in our own unique way, would be a massive PR coup. I would do safety officer. risk asessments etc as we're all wrapped up at hailsham. I'm sure we would have no trouble getting funds if we nailed the media. And would the Police dare oppose it? Just a thought, Oh and a beer tent, me thinks!!!!! _________________ Lest we forget
Looks like Waterloo are going to hold their costume comp on that spare Saturday, so at loeast it will still be a bonfire related activity with beer for me _________________ [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]

I do hate no events in the middle of the season, I seem to forget what to do on a Saturday night. Perhaps there will be another pub crawl around Lewes like previous years.
Still, last 'quiet' year in Lewes before a Friday and Saturday night.
There will be a pub crawl in lewes on the 4th . . Mrs V Birthday and Lewes badge night combined !
