Hello everyone,

Afraid I will be asking a load of questions over the coming weeks. A few friends and me are trying to set up a new society, hopefully to hold our first display this November. Scary monsters but hope it is worth it in the end!

Anyway, I will try to be brief and will endeavour to help everyone else in any way I can Smile

Thanks for the welcome.

Hoping to start a Society in Glynde and Beddingham. We have been given the backing of the Parish Council as of last night, so all looks positive.Fingers crossed and all that.

Well I wish youluck in your new venture. It's good that you have the backing of your parish council. Now all you've got to do is get the local district council and emergency services on your side.

Welcome on board mate, like the sound of a Glynde & Beddingham event, if you haven't done so already, make sure you get in touch with the Sussex Bonfire Council and apply for membership (cost £10 per annum), the next meeting is the 24th of June so you'll need to move fairly quickly. Good luck with everything. As admin says, if you need anything just ask.
