Personally I think its against the humn rights of smokers. Plus its also a dictatorship as far as Europe is concerned telling you what you can & can't do without a public vote on it. Thats not very democratic is it?

But on the other hand it is quite nice going into a smoke free pub. Plus I can see why they did it. But what I want to know is, if the goverment are so keen on everyone giving up, where are they going to get the millions they make in taxes of smokers? How will the nhs cope without that money. That arguement it wouldn't cost so much if they didn't have to treat smokers don't wash anymore as they they refuse to treat you know for most smoking releated illness's.

It all goes on them useless managers that are meant to be running the show and opeople lining their pockets. Its not spent on care or nurses & doctors.

Right get of my soap box now. Laughing

Each to their own. I used to smoke many many years ago. But if people want to light up then thats up to them. People smoking around me has never really bothered me.

Let it be I say. Hey if people want to smoke & ruin their health thats their choice. Though it is nice to go to a smoke free pub on a night out.

But where is the democracy in this ban? Were the general public given a choice on it. No they just had it enforced on them. In a way I kind of feel sorry for the smokers.
