Well this year's AGM went well. Everyone of note gave their annual reports and thanked everyone for all their hard work that they put in last year. Decission was made to run with this year's celebrations.
The conclusion was made that the village and its residents must get behind the society if they want the bonfire celebrations to continue after this year. Afterall it is the biggest event that goes on in the village during the year.
The Ted Haskell Memorial Shield for member of the year (ie the person that is seen on the whole by the committee to put themselfs out and to be at the beckon call of the society) was for the first time shared by two members. So a big congratulations to Phil Lucas & Chris Gasson on sharing the trophy. Everyone at the AGM agreed that they both were worthy winners.
