It's ok mate, we're used to it, we're always getting missed off of lists, until the beginning of this year we thought we were called "any other visiting societies" lol. Hence the unofficial motto we've borrowed from Millwall FC "No one likes us but we don't care" _________________ Lest we forget |

Well done V - 3 days! I could feel the pressure building up from here with you trying to keep quiet
But the question is would they be stripes, hooped, lines or toroidal rugby tops? |
How about Checkered Tops _________________ Remember Remember The Fifth Of November . . V

Otherwise I agree totally with the plotter, the smugglers attire is our kindred badge and part of what bonds us and be should be worn with pride whether you're a member of a brand new society or one with 150 years of tradition. No one should put pressure on those societies that choose to wear Rugby shirts but hopefully they will eventually decide to take the leap themselves and invest in Guernseys, I can't imagine there's much price difference between the two.
On the hoops, stripes, lines, barcodes issue i'm just gonna call em Guernseys from now. So there!! |
Barcodes . . . Thats a cool idea , I`m gonna get myself a scanner ! _________________ Remember Remember The Fifth Of November . . V

here's the stripes gallery from the old mayfield website (note how the mock up of what i thought they should wear has been deleted !) for them as might want an overview of what's worn:
